How I been using my new Nutribullet
Day 1. Almond Cherry Smoothie
- 1 banana (frozen or ripe)
- 1 cup of frozen cherries
- 2 cups of organic spinach
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter (I used peanut butter)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract
- 1/2 cup of almond milk (I use unsweetened)
Day 2. Good morning Coffee lover's smoothie (my favorite)
- 3/4 cup of brewed coffee cooled in fridge (or cold brew Coffee, I used Starbucks)
- 1 frozen medium ripe banana
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 3/4 cup of frozen cauliflower
- 1/4 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 tablespoon of Cocoa powder
Day 3. Peanut butter Blueberry Banana smoothie (most simple)
- 1 banana (frozen or ripe)
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 1 cup of almond milk
Day 4. Snickerdoodle Tahini Date Smoothie
- 3 pitted large Medjool dates (or 1/4 cup packed pitted
Medjool dates)
- 1 cup of almond milk (or dairy free milk of your choice)
- 3/4 cup of frozen cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Day 5. Cinnamon Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie
- 1 cup of frozen cubed sweet potato (or sub for frozen cubed butternut squash)
- 1 frozen banana
- 3/4 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (dairy free if desired)
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter or pecan butter (I used peanut butter)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Pinch of ground cloves (I did not have this so I didn't use this)
Day 6. Pineapple Mango Smoothie (most simple)
- 1 cup of frozen mango chunks
- 3/4 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup of coconut milk
Day 7. (I have yet to try) but it's a green smoothie. I will update post after I have tried it.
Notes:
You can add spinach to any of your smoothies and you won't even taste it but it's healthy, but it's guaranteed to turn your smoothie green, which isn't very picture worthy if you ask me lol.
You can also add a scoop your favorite protein powder, or 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal, or 1/4 cup of gluten free rolled oats to any of your smoothies to add in that healthy twist.
(I personally always add 1 teaspoon of Chia Seeds in every smoothie I make)
